Tell me about your idea, who the painting is for, and any photos, colors, or memories you’d like me to work from. Filling out the form doesn’t reserve a slot. Inquiries are open October 19 to November 9.

2. We have a free online consultation.
I’ll reply within [1-2 days] to set up a [15-20 minute] video call or chat. We’ll go over your references, the size, the style, and your timeline. Afterward, I’ll send your exact price along with the commission agreement.

3. Sign the agreement and pay a 50% deposit.
Your slot is reserved once I receive the signed agreement and your deposit. I only take two commissions, and slots go fast, so make sure you complete this step within 48 hours of my email. If the agreement and deposit aren’t received in that time, or if both slots are already taken, you’ll be added to the waitlist, and I’ll reach out if a spot opens.

4. Review your sketch.
At the beginning of your commission, I’ll send a sketch of the composition for you to review. You can request one round of changes before I begin painting. If I don’t hear back within 48 hours, I’ll go ahead and start painting so we stay on schedule.

5. I paint your piece.
Each painting takes about 3 weeks. I’ll send a progress photo along the way, and a photo of the finished painting when it’s done. The remaining 50% is due within 3 days of that photo, before shipping.

6. Your painting ships.
I’ll pack your piece carefully, insure it, and ship it in mid-December, by [ship-by date]. You’ll get a tracking number as soon as it’s on its way. Delivery times depend on the carrier, so I can’t guarantee arrival before Christmas. If you need it in hand by a specific date, local pickup in Baton Rouge is available.
